Hi, I’m Austin Winnie, Owner of Texas Family Portraits. I believe family photography isn’t just about capturing a moment—it’s about preserving a legacy. Your family’s story deserves more than just sitting on a hard drive; it deserves to be displayed, felt, and passed down for generations.
My dad photographed every milestone and family gathering of my childhood. Sometime around the holidays, he would always pull out these albums, and we would go through our year together. These albums have only grown in meaning as I’ve gotten older. Helping families gather memories like this is my mission in life.
My photography journey began in Hawaii, where I spent years building my first photography business, Hawaii Family Portraits. Photographing families against some of the most stunning backdrops, learning how to use natural elements like wind, light, and water to create images that feel alive, and then transferring my knowledge and skills to a rockstar team of talented people. Now, I bring that same expertise and approach to families here in Texas.
